Why working with a professional real estate expert matters.

Working with professional experts means having the absolute best toolkit at our disposal that we are putting to work for you. From the first time we meet or talk, we are already putting together the plan and tools that will help you. We have created checklists and guides that can take you from overwhelmed to a solid plan. We provide market data by analyzing your property, properties similar to it, and what is going on around your property to help you understand where you are and where you need to be, and collaborate with you on a strategy based on facts not feelings. We walk you through the process of buying or selling a home every step of the way, making sure that you understand the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ so that you can make the best decisions. We want to teach you about flood maps, HOA documents, and insurance implications so that you become an expert on your home, neighborhood and community. We challenge ourselves to be experts in our MLS’s suite of tools so that we can put them to work for you, as well as leveraging our knowledge and resources for social media, search engine optimization, marketing, advertising, and logistics and collaborating with experts in those fields to provide the best experience for you. We want to impress you, but more than that, we want to create and execute a plan that gives you a great service experience and achieves your buying or selling goals.

Along the Grand Strand, the real estate market is dynamic and complex, we have types of properties here that don’t exist in other areas of the country. This is why we encourage you to work with local professionals who understand how unique this area is. Not only does that include us, full time agents who are immersed in Grand Strand real estate and not moonlighting, but the team we work with. This includes local lenders who understand how to lend on a condotel and which buildings qualify for which loans. This includes inspectors who know how to look for wear and tear that is normal to our hot and humid climate versus a serious structural or mechanical problem. It includes a photography team specializing in real estate with professional photos and 3D tours, not us walking around your home with our iphone. It includes insurance agents who can explain what wind and hail coverage is and if you have to have it. Basically, we want to leverage the team of amazing professionals that we have relationships with to help you achieve your goals.

Working with professionals looks like treating you, start to finish, like we would expect someone to treat our mom. We are in this boat with you, and we are here to help you achieve your goals. That means listening to what is important to you, that means being upfront and honest if we think that your plan may not be feasible. It also means fighting as hard as we can to get you what you need and want, while doing so in a way that means we can go to sleep with a clear conscience at night. Not only do we owe you the utmost respect and responsibility, but we also take our relationships with other realtors and peers very seriously. We are in this together. And we pride ourselves on being agents that other agents want to work with. Having a great working relationship with local lenders, attorneys, inspectors, builders, appraisers and realtors means that when we need their help going the extra mile for you, we are met with the same helpfulness that we hope to give. And this can mean everything when making sure your goals are accomplished and we all get across the finish line at the closing table.

For many people, their home is their largest investment and biggest purchase they will make. Some of you are considering buying your first property, some of you are considering selling your tenth property. No matter where you are, we are here. Working with an expert real estate professional means that we understand that every person, every home, and every contract is unique and special. And we are excited to be on this journey with you!
